Workfolio is an educational initiative that gives Digital Business Management students who have excelled in their second-year BUS 2504 Web Development course the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills to a real client project, with guidance and mentorship from Hanadi Alnawab throughout the experience.

Working Together

Every Workfolio project is different and is shaped around the client’s goals and needs. You’ll meet directly with your client to learn about their work, understand what they hope to accomplish, and work with them throughout the project.

This is a collaborative process. You’ll share your ideas and recommendations, review work with your client, respond to feedback, and make decisions together. An important part of Workfolio is creating a sustainable online presence that the client understands and can continue to manage after the project is complete.

Workfolio projects may count toward your Work Integrated Learning hours. When funding is available through the Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship, students are paid for their work on the project.

Sharing the Story

Once the project is complete, we’ll document the experience through a story on the Workfolio Substack. You’ll contribute your perspective by reflecting on the project, the process, what you learned, and the experience of working with a real client.
