Harnessing the AI Chatbot in Humber’s Classrooms: A Multi-disciplinary + Cross-Faculty Approach

Funding
Funding for this project is provided by Humber College under Priority 3 of the Academic Plan – Empowering Teaching and Learning at Humber. The funds will be used to hire students to support the project. View Project Plan (in progress).

Tuesday Oct 17:
The BUS 2504 visited the BME 5001 class and listened to their business ideas, the following ideas were presented:

- Hasda Student Marketplace
- Eco-friendly Packaging
- Group Buy – Good Deals
After the visit, BUS 2504 teams met with Hanadi Alnawab and discussed the projects presented, and agreed on choosing three projects based on the project requirements, scope, and skillset of our Web Development course. The three chosen presentation slides are available in this folder.
Friday Oct 27:
- The domain HarnessingAI.org is purchased and website setup, expires October 27, 2025
- Gretta Castelino is hired as Research Assistant and will be supporting the website development work
